Training is conducted 4 1/2 days per week, with the timetable being part practical and part theory everyday, except Friday which is all practical. Class sizes are small enough to ensure that students only work in pairs, each pair of students have their own couch, guaranteeing each student is able to practice their developing skills on a daily basis. Classes are supervised by fully qualified, industry experienced, motivated and dedicated teaching staff. A student salon day is run every week for each class thus enabling students to work on clients who are not fellow class members, on a weekly basis. We also hold regular family days when family members can experience treatments and see how the therapists are progressing. This ensures confident and efficient graduates. There is also a separate school salon where students can complete their work experience under supervision if they wish. We have an up-to-the minute spa therapy capsule which enables the students to perform aromatherapy steam, vichy shower and body wrap treatments, so that they are able to work in day spas when they finish their training. All practical treatments performed by the students are recorded in their personal log book, and a minimum number of each treatment has to be performed in order for the students to graduate. This is a useful record which can be used when applying for positions. Weekly theory tests and periodical practical assessments are conducted, as well as the end of semester practical and theory examinations. Upon completion of their courses all students will complete an international examination conducted by an examiner who has travelled from overseas to examine our student's practical skills and invigilate their theoretical examinations. At the end of their time with us the students attend a graduation dinner before commencing working life as a Beauty Therapist, and the start of an exciting career in Beauty Therapy.
