ITEC Advanced Skincare Diploma
The objective of the course is to enable learners to gain the necessary practical and theoretical skills in order to provide Advanced Skincare treatments.
The course has been specifically designed for Beauty Therapists wanting to work within a Medispa environment.
Upon completion of the course the students will be eligible to sit the ITEC examination for IPL, Microdermabrasion and Advanced Skincare.
The course consists of the following -
- Dermatology and Microbiology
- Physiology of Ageing
- Chemistry of Hair and Beauty Products
- Laser and light treatments for skin rejuvenation and permanent hair reduction
- Apply microdermabrasion
- Skin needling
- Peels
- Radio frequency for skin tightening
- Management of Health, Safety and Security in the Salon
- Laser Safety Certificate
The course can be undertaken on a part – time basis
- Monday and Wednesday 6pm – 9pm 28th May 2012 – 14th March 2013 (3 weeks Christmas break)
Course cost $5500.00. Payment plans available.
Ex-students of ISBT 10% discount. The cost of the ITEC examination will be extra.
