This course is designed  specifically for Beauty Therapists to cover the latest   Education Departments and ITEC requirements in Intense Pulsed Light treatments for hair reduction. Upon completion of the training you will have the confidence and knowledge to safely apply IPL for hair reduction. Students receive intensive training and individual supervision and will complete a number of case studies and assessments.

The content of this course is covered within the Advanced Skin Care Qualification and there is no need to take both.

 

The course will consist of Theory and Practical on-site tuition, and the completion of a variety of documented case studies and 3 assignments.

The course will include

• Laser Safety Course
• theory of the treatment
• electrical science
• contra-indications
• the integumentary system
• skin diseases and disorders
• hair and the hair growth cycle
• the endocrine system
• practical application of IPL on a range of skin types
• theory and practical assessments

The course can be taken

• Over 2  long weekends with assessments at a later date

Weekend 1

25th,16th,27th May

PLUS

Weekend 2

22nd,23rd,24th June

OR

Monday and Wednesday evenings 6pm – 9pm, commencing 28th May 2012

The course will comply with – ITEC diploma in Intense Pulsed Light treatments for hair reduction.

Course cost $2500.oo.  Payment plans available.

Ex-students of ISBT will receive a 10% discount. The ITEC qualification is optional and involves an additional exam fee.
