ISBT offers a range of full time beauty therapy courses covering the Australian training package in Beauty therapy. Most full time beauty therapy courses will also have an equivalent International qualification which you may also take upon payment of the examining board’s fee. These qualifications are important even if you do not plan to travel as they guarantee an advanced or standardised level of training, and prove that you are serious about your chosen career. We are affiliated with the 3 major examining boards, CIDESCO, CIBTAC and ITEC, allowing you to choose your qualifications. The school will be visited by an external assessor who has travelled to Australia to conduct the examinations. Both the school principal and head tutor are International examiners for the CIDESCO board and have examined in many countries.
As of 2011, the AQF is including microdermabrasion in its electives for the Diploma in Beauty Therapy and ISBT will be offering this elective in their Full Time Diploma Of Beauty Therapy course.
The School AQF qualifications are issued upon successful completion of both practical and theory assessments. There is no charge for these assessments or for retakes if they are necessary.
