ISBT offers a range of courses covering the Australian training package in Beauty therapy. Most courses will also have an equivalent International qualification which you may also take upon payment of the examining boards fee. These qualifications are important even if you do not plan to travel as they guarantee an advanced or standardised level of training, and prove that you are serious about your chosen career. We are affiliated with the 3 major examining boards, CIDESCO, CIBTAC and ITEC, allowing you to choose your qualifications. The school will be visited by an external assessor who has travelled to Australia to conduct the examinations. Both the school principal and head tutor are International examiners for the CIDESCO board and have examined in many countries.

As of 2011, the AQF is including microdermabrasion as an elective in its Diploma in Beauty Therapy.

The School AQF qualifications are issued upon successful completion of both practical and theory assessments. There is no charge for these examinations nor for retakes if they are necessary.

GENERAL COURSE INFORMATION

A place on any particular course can be confirmed with a deposit, with the remainder of the fees paid over the length of the course in monthly installments.

Payments may be paid by cash, cheque, credit card, eftpos, internet banking or direct debit.

All Course fees are covered by a Refund Policy signed by the Student or Parent/Guardian on enrolment.

Prospective Students under eighteen must be accompanied by a Parent or Guardian who must also sign all the relevant paperwork.

All courses are offered subject to availability and student numbers. A full refund of any fees paid by the Student will be given if the Course is cancelled by the School before the commencement of the course.

All Full Time & Part Time courses commence on the previously stated dates unless changes need to be made due to unforeseen circumstances.

As the School is accredited with Asqa (Australian Skills Quality Authority) and Nationally Recognised Training, students are eligible to claim Austudy.

Minimum requirements are that Australian Students must be 16 years of age and have completed year ten.

Recognition is given for Prior Learning, (RPL). Please indicate on the Application Form if RPL is required.

All courses are available on a Full or Part Time basis subject to availability and Student numbers. Start dates for Part Time courses vary.

Course fees shown are current for courses commencing 30.01.12.

All courses are taught by fully qualified staff with many years experience in the Beauty Therapy Industry.
