Our beautician course facilities include practical rooms equipped for facial therapy and for body therapy. In these rooms the students work on each other, family, friends and salon clients, performing a multitude of treatments, facials, hydradermie, make-up, waxing, lash extensions, microdermabrasion, aromatherapy, body wraps, spa treatments, reflexology, body massage and many more. Theory classes are also part of the training as the background knowledge is vital to ensure the students are both knowledgeable and can work safely and these classes are conducted in the theory room.
A number of our beautician courses, such as our Certificate II in retail services and make-up course also provide training to prepare students to work in a retail environment.Students are provided with training manuals as part of their course fee, but they also have access to many books to aid their studies. A student kitchen/coffee room are also available. A complete list of our full and part time beautician courses can be found here. You may also be interested in one of our short beautician courses.
The teaching staff for all of our make-up artist courses and other beautician courses have obtained their Diploma of Beauty Therapy plus International qualifications, and have a minimum of three years practical experience of working in the beauty industry. Their experience ranges from being a cruise ship beauty therapist, working in the UK, a spa manager, to working in a salon, whilst both the principal and head tutor are International examiners for the CIDESCO examining board.
