The International School of Beauty Therapy has been established in Western Australia for 30 years and is accredited with the Training Accreditation Council of Western Australia, registration number 6251. The School courses are approved by Centrelink for Austudy. The School is also accredited with CIDESCO (Zurich) and CIBTAC (London) and is a member of Cidesco Schools Australia and ACPET (Australian Council for Private Education and Training)

Situated in the suburb of Peppermint Grove, the School is close to both the Swan River and the Indian Ocean. The light and airy premises are on the upper level of the Cottesloe Central Shopping Centre, just two minutes walk from the railway station, buses from Perth or Fremantle stop adjacent to the School and there is ample free, all day parking. Students have very easy access to the cafes, bistros and boutiques in the exclusive shopping area of Cottesloe, which is a popular lunchtime destination for Students

The International School is equipped with the modern teaching aids and equipment that the Student would expect to experience in salons and spas. This ensures thorough up to date training in all aspects of Beauty Therapy.

The facilities include two large practical rooms, one equipped for Facial Therapy and one equipped for Body Therapy. There is also a theory classroom, a spa room equipped with spa, a Student kitchen and rest room. A large selection of Beauty industry focused books and publications are available to the Student to aid their studies.

All the teaching staff at the International School of Beauty Therapy have achieved the Diploma of Beauty Therapy, also International qualifications and have had a minimum of three years practical experience of working in the Beauty industry, both in Australia and overseas. In addition the Principal and Head Tutor travel overseas examining Students for the CIDESCO International examining board.
